Egypt

I had a severe camara issue during my travels in the Middle East and the vast majority of my slides were over-exposed, so I don't have that many photos of typical Egyptian landmarks.

It was extremely rare to find any remaining color amid the ruins. Most everything has been chipped away or faded over time. This ceiling of a high doorway did manage to survive and one can only imagine how beautiful ancient Egypt was in full color.
